Welcome to The Auto Service

The Auto Service was founded back in 1980 under the name Swedish Autoservice, which was renamed Swedish Asian Autoservice in the ‘90s. The owner Steve Lowe started working for his parents straight out of high school in 1980. He began by washing cars, cleaning the shop, working in the office doing payroll, then making his way into the service department. Steve’s father passed away in 1998, and his mother retired in 2016. In 2017, the company was rebranded as The Auto Service.

Steve’s wife, Lisa, became part of the company in 2007, working in the front office. Their son, Corey, is responsible for updates on the computers, and their daughter is handling excel spreadsheets and helping with social media. Corey’s wife is responsible for designing The Auto Service’s logo, and she continues to work on their branding. The shop’s mascot, Buddy, a Labradoodle, hangs out at the shop, greeting those who visit.

As mentioned above, Steve grew up in the auto service business. He also went to school for business and automotive. When he’s not at the shop, Steve can be found spending time on the lake and relaxing with his family. Also, he enjoys traveling to new destinations and doing a little wine tasting.
